Wyatt and the Blood Gems

You're Wyatt, a goofy cowboy that joined a group of outlaws. Their last mission was to steel the blood gems, a mysterious artifact that has been found in a gold mine. After retrieving the gems, their journey take a bad turn ... especially for you. But the blood gem seems to play with death and you are revived but why ?

This game is a submission for MetroidVania Month 20

Game can be played with a controller or keyboard.

Notes:

You can run (using B for controller and SHIFT for keyboard)

You can jump on walls (should have been a power to unlock but a chunck of the level had to be removed due to various bugs)

The game end abruptly (sorry for the deception but kuddo for finishing !), i may continue it for Super version of the jam but i'm not sure.

Jam Notes:

Themes i took where Revival (but i may have translated badly to French with revive) and You're not alone (The team member were supposed to be with you after you meet them, kind of like the bird double jump).

For the MetroidVania i missed a bit the point with the layout of my level.

Overall it was very fun and i learnt a lot of fun things on Godot while doing it.
